Translation Notes

1. Kuuhaku – blank space, vacuum. The furigana reads ‘Blank’ and ‘Na Nashi’ (no name). Soubi used this word when he was fighting Nisei in the last chapter.

2. Utsusemi – cast off cicada shell. Not sure what this means exactly, but I know it’s also been used in Soubi’s fighting before. Maybe Soubi can shed his name like a cicada sheds its shell?

3. Jitsuryokusha – I wasn’t sure how to translate this. It basically means influential person.

4. I used he, but no gender is specified for Ritsu’s fighter.

Anyway, really interesting chapter! We finally got some answers about why Seimei can have two fighters. Looks like Ritsu also cares about Soubi a lot more than I had realized, and vice versa. Seimei is portrayed as a manipulative ass, as usual. Interesting how he can seem so evil, even when tiny and cute looking. No wonder Ritsu was fooled!
